Hyamptons | Hyams Beach
This was a knock down re-build. The client wanted to keep with the ‘Old Shack Beachy’ feel, so the house was designed with this in mind and to suit the surroundings and their larger growing family.
The home consists of 5 bedrooms, large open entertainment areas with a feature fire place and raked ceilings. A large deck and entertainment area look over the majestic Hyams Beach. The use of V joint boards are featured in many areas of the home and to highlight the open spaced raked ceilings, this adds to the ‘beachy’ atmosphere. The paint colours have been kept to white and soft tones whilst the décor is detailed with colour and art.
This home was designed to suit the existing landscape it was sitting on in the town of Sunshine Bay.
The house is divided into wings either side of a large and open kitchen and living area, raked ceilings and highlight windows lead out to a covered alfresco area which overlooks a pool and a detailed landscaped surrounding. All bedrooms have their own ensuit and walk in robe.
This was a knock down rebuild designed to suit the beach and its surrounding free living lifestyle.
This home has many features with spotted gum timber floors, high raked ceilings lined with traditional V joint boards, highlight windows and a fire place wrapped in natural stone. An earth wall that is built on the bottom floor that extends to the top floor and ensuite adds to the beach feel of this stunning Hyams Beach home. With large timber deck areas and open space living this home is a dream.
The owners of this acreage at Falls Creek came to us wanting a home that represented its surroundings and peaceful river frontage.
Long verandahs to the front of the home gives it a country feel and look while the rear alfresco has views of the surrounding farm lands and river frontage. With the idea of possibly running a small business or B & B the main bedroom is hidden away from the rest of the house keeping it private. This home has an open living plan with large kitchen and traditional raked ceilings. The main bathroom has a spa looking through low lying windows which take advantage of magnificent views of the river.
From the beginning the owner of this home knew exactly the style and detail that they wanted to create for their heritage style home in the beautiful Burrill Lake.
Attention to detail throughout this home includes a bay window seat in the main bedroom, old style light and power point switches, bathroom and ensuite tiling layouts and colours, fret work to the gables, posts and hallway arch. The hallway is lined with V joint boards with picture rails adding to the heritage touch.
